The holiday's are a time for getting together with family and enjoying the time spend together. Also it's a time when you get to dress up and sparkle. Depending on where or how you will be spending your holiday there is always that one outfit that can make you shine. In addition there are some simple clothing choices for guys as well. You can dress dressy casual, or get all dressed up for a holiday party.
If you want to dress dressy casual then there are a few options that you can choose from. Usually dressy casual looks like you aren't trying that hard yet it looks nice and sophisticated. Pairing jeans with riding boots can make an outfit look dressy in an instant. During this season peplum tops have become famous and are fancy enough to wear for a casual get together.

And for dressing up during the holiday's a major fashion statement is wearing either gold or silver sparkle dresses. The sparkle dresses catch the light and are simple yet fabulous all at once. If wearing dresses arn't comfortable then you could settle for a sparkle skirt and pair it with a nice top.

The top should be simple so that it doesn't clash with the sparkle of the skirt. In addition when wearing anything sparkly, jewelry should be kept to a minimum and shoes as well. The sparkly dress or skirt should be able to speak for itself.

If sparkle isn't right for you then there are many other options. A fitted dress that is either gold or a burgundy works really well for winter and for the holiday season.

And last but not least the guys. Guys always have it easier but wearing the right thing makes all the difference. For a guy a nice pair of slacks, yes jeans could work but slacks make a difference. Pair the slacks with a dark colored button up oxford polo. Also, depending on how dressy the event is a bow tie or a tie would look great.
No matter if boy or girl, fancy event or casual event, anyone is bound to shine this holiday season!
